Expotrade is a leading Conference Organiser based in Clayton (Victoria) and is currently seeking a Conference Researcher / Writer / Producer that will provide a broad range of communication, writing & research duties to the organisation for a portfolio of extremely successful conferences in Australia.
The role will primarily focus on conducting desk & phone research with senior industry professionals to identify cutting-edge conference topics and prepare exciting conference programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality content that meets business objectives
- Conduct desk and telephone research to identify market trends/news
- Carrying out primary and secondary research with senior industry professionals to identify cutting-edge conference topics
- Acquire appropriate speakers for the conference
- Writing content for conferences, including marketing collateral e.g. brochures, e-newsletters, product briefs.
- Assisting the marketing & production team with copywriting and research
- Travel onsite to conferences
Requirements:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism preferred
- Excellent writing, organisation, communication and research skills
- Experience in writing for newspapers, blogs, magazines is preferred
- Bright, enthusiastic, confident and a fast learner
