The 7th Middle East Smart Landscape Summit 2019 Will Emphasize Upon Building Healthy Natural Environment and Sustainable Communities

The Middle East region’s leading landscape focused conference, the Middle East Smart Landscape Summit is back for its seventh edition on the 18thand 19thof March 2019 at Roda Al Bustan, Dubai. Organized by global conference producers, Expotrade Global, the forthcoming edition of the event will focus on creating a healthy natural environment in urban areas and building sustainable communities.

Across two days, the event will highlight the evolving trends and developments witnessed in the green and blue spaces in this region. The two-day event will lay emphasis on topics pertaining to innovating landscape design in order to create livable cities, developing a green city in an arid region, retrofitting open spaces a priority for developers, the importance of preserving native plants in the region, retrofitting playgrounds and open spaces and ways to increasing the green quotient in the city.

The 2018 edition of the summit witnessed over 350 industry professionals and over 35 international and regional experts participate at the two-day summit. UAE has been at the forefront of green infrastructure development and Abu Dhabi Municipality’s recent Dh5 million landscaping project close to Sheikh Zayed Bridge is a testimony to that.

At the upcoming edition of the event, more than 40 subject matter experts will share insights and delve into discussions on green infrastructure development plans, the role of landscape architecture in the region and how urban green spaces have a positive impact on the environment.

Robert Shakespeare, Group Design Director, Landscape architecture, Cracknell, Val Zillig, Urban Planning Advisor, Sharjah Urban Planning Council, Steven Velegrinis, Head of Masterplanning / Director of Operations, AECOM, Hrvoje Cindri?, Associate, Arup and Dan Bulmer, Managing Director, Place Dynamix along with a few others are some of the early speaker confirmed to participate at this event.

The two day event is expected to host over 400 senior professionals representing landscape and design architects, engineering consultants and urban planners, project developers from both private and government entities.
