SA Major Projects Conference 2026: Building South Australia's Future

WEDNESDAY MARCH 11, 2026

Industry leaders and decision makers will discuss major infrastructure projects shaping South Australia, at the 16th Annual SA Major Projects Conference, which returns to the Adelaide Convention Centre on the 4th and 5th of May 2026.

The South Australian Government is investing a record $27.3 billion, over four years, in transformative infrastructure projects. The government’s investment in major transport, healthcare and critical infrastructure projects will enable the state’s continued growth. Over thirty major projects, worth more than $7 billion, are also planned, approved or under construction in Adelaide, reshaping the city’s skyline. Against this backdrop, the two-day SA Major Projects Conference returns with a focus on the infrastructure to support South Australia’s growing population.

At the SA conference, over thirty speakers, representing industry leaders, government agencies, and private stakeholders, will discuss major projects and topics centred around South Australia’s infrastructure pipeline. One of the many high-level speakers, the Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Dr Jane Lomax-Smith AM, will open day two of the conference with a keynote address.

Considered the largest major projects and infrastructure conference in South Australia, around 200 delegates from the infrastructure, construction, and development sectors, are anticipated to gather for the 16th annual SA Major Projects Conference to learn from speakers, as well as network and drive innovation in South Australia’s major infrastructure projects.
