Industry leaders and decision-makers will gather in Darwin this November for the 15th Annual NT Major Projects Conference, returning to the Darwin Convention Centre on 25 and 26 November 2026.
With the Northern Territory’s 2026-27 infrastructure program outlining a $4.25 billion investment pipeline, the Territory is continuing to invest in transport, housing, community infrastructure, energy and economic development to improve connectivity, support population growth, and strengthen the Territory’s long-term economic productivity.
Against this backdrop, the two-day conference will provide a platform for senior decision-makers to discuss the policies, innovations and collaborative approaches needed to successfully deliver the Territory’s major infrastructure program. Bringing together senior leaders from government, industry and the private sector, the event will examine the issues and opportunities facing the next generation of infrastructure delivery across the NT.

- Territory Energy Link: Infrastructure NT General Manager will provide updates and insights into Territory Energy Link, a multi-user infrastructure corridor which will connect major energy projects in the Beetaloo Sub Basin with Middle Arm and other strategic infrastructure in Darwin.
- Nolans Rare Earths Project: Arafura Rare Earths executive will discuss the Nolans Rare Earths Project, which will be the country's first fully integrated ore-to-oxide mine and refinery.
- AAPowerlink Project: NT SunCable Regional Director will provide updates on the project, which integrates solar generation, battery storage, and high voltage direct current transmission to provide multi-gigawatt, off-grid power.
- Northern Marine Complex: NT Government Territory Coordinator will discuss the Northern Marine Complex (NMC), which will establish Darwin as the only full-service maritime maintenance and sustainment hub between Cairns and Perth, positioned at Australia’s northern gateway and closest port to Asia.
